The Humanities Lab (HumLab) is a new kind of MakerSpace at Bucknell, one that expands the scope of current MakerSpace offerings by focusing on “critical making.” As it is developed in the HumLab, “humanities making” involves the maker asking humanities-based questions with or of the critical making process and product. In addition to integrating these components, the HumLab focuses on the use of powerful software and digital tools to assist with humanities making projects.
The HumLab is open to all faculty, staff, and students on campus, and we welcome your participation! Come join us for a workshop or lecture, or else reserve the space for your own interdisciplinary research project!
